Unit 1: Intranet strategy fundamentals

Overview

The first unit of our Professional Intranet Planning Certificate focusses on intranet strategy, why it's important, how to create one and the key stages you need to complete. 

This unit will be led by Martyn Green and he will be joined by Jeremy Stewart and John Nicklin during the class.

During this 1.5 hour session you will:

- Understand what an intranet strategy is and how to apply it to your business

- Learn the key stages of the intranet implementation methodology

- Discover techniques to understand your stakeholders

- Learn how to plan your intranet project

This session will be interactive and you are encouraged to ask questions and focus on how this could apply to your own organisation.

This unit should be completed before starting unit 2; Information architecture.
